I just got done building a projector out of a over head & a 5.6" TFT active matrix LCD screen. The total project costed me $465.34. I have achieved a screen side of 100" on my wall. The picture is so big, it hangs off the screen I built for it! The picture quality is ery very nice!

I WOULD RECOMMEND YOU DO THIS ASAP IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN A CHEAP & BIG TV!

Excellent work White Knight.

I'm in the process of building my own projector as well. So far I got a NView Spectra with a 3m overhead projector.

The result is real dim, my plan is to retrofit the ohp with a 400W metal halide.

You said you used 2 500W bulbs in your setup? That must be very very hot. Are they MH bulbs?

Also, what ohp are you using? And where did you get your 5.6" screen? I'm wondering if that will give better result than my NView Spectra.

Thanks

can you specify TFT numbers?

Hello White Knight...
well done...can you tell us specifics of where you got your screen, what brand, model number, etc.?
How much was it? that kind of thing...also, was the OHP designed to take two 500watt bulbs or did you just insert them?
thanks
George
