Sorry for the late reply, as my visits to this forum are not much, nowadays. I got all my items except the lcd and MH lamp from Chennai. If you browse thru my posts, you'll know the address. I got the lcd from ebay (Nishica tv, which is not available now, amd MH lamp from an electrical shop near Kushaiguda).

got into this forum after a long gap. I was on sourcing the components a year back and left track.

Now i am moved to Chennai and start souring the same.

Can somebody guide me to get Fresnel & triplet lenses in chennai.

I will try the shop which "pollok" mentioned in the old post.

There is an alternate for MH 250 in deal extreme.

I have Appolo Odysssy portable overhead projector for selling and used for DIY projector. It is damm good lenses to project sharp image. However i have got another projector so selling this projector in almost half price in India. Please note the bulb got fused and it runs in USA voltage.

Where did you get the fresnel lens?
Do you have any source for triplet lens?

LCD Upto 15" 310mm x 310mm is enough.

i am in chennai. Even you can take a 15" 16:9 LCD (305mm x 228mm if i remember correctly).

by the way what is the total cost for fresnel & triplet lens.

HI,SHIVELA U R WRONG, IN THE SIZE OF LCD PANEL 15" WIDE SCREEN MONITOR HAVE A LONG SCREEN THAN OUR FRESNEL LENS . GUYS , THERE IS ANY BODY HAVE ANY SUGGESTION ABOUT THE LCD MONITOR

in kolkata you wont get fresnels easily.however there are a number of online places you will get fresnels and triplet,optolife,bhlens,lensel optics etc.but if you have that time,you can search in kolkata.there must be some place.😀where in kolkata you live?
