Here we go!
Now it needs the right innerdiameter

🙂Holy cow, you're not messing around. 😀
The first ventport is done, it looks very cool! It'll work just perfect in Piccolo Mostro III. Here's a question for ya, you know what Piccolo Mostro means? 😉
How do u mean? What about an 'all cardboard' version ??
I mean : it doesn't have to stand an huge pressure ,total force is given by the two 4" paper cones . I just think it is oversized in terms of Q(quality)/P
(pounds ,the weight ) .
That's all !!

Well, it does not have to cost much (Read a lot) to sound good, as long as you do it right. For an example, I think Marten Design sounds terrible and they cost very much!! And lot of Canton speakers... to say a few brands 🙂I mean : it doesn't have to stand an huge pressure ,total force is given by the two 4" paper cones . I have heard many brands costing 1/8 sounding better

I specified the weight ,referring to 'pound' . Are you going to make flared shape ends in the duct ? Does it fire backwards or downwards ?
The ends are at 30 degree angle, pointing downwards 🙂 Will show a photo of my first complete port tonight 🙂I specified the weight ,referring to 'pound' . Are you going to make flared shape ends in the duct ? Does it fire backwards or downwards ?
One done, one to go 🙂

That's not a proper 'flare' . Or it is ? It may be ...
I had an idea not yet copyrighted 🙄
You could use a steel plate with an L shape , the vertical part supports the drivers ,the horizontal one has the duct in it ,and the spikes on it . Clever ,ha ?
the enclosure is 1 cm plexy ,(with transparent aerogel foam ,very chic!),binding posts on the rear .
Just for an idea ...if no sound absorber would to be used (either if white dacron may be...sexy !!)

This is like building a house this way:
1. Selecting and buying all the wall paint.
2. Picking out the colour of the window curtains.
3. Doing at that other boring stuff (ie. foundation, floor, walls, roof, etc)
🙁
