Value is 492 pF. Using this technology, I can produce a capacitor with value up to 1200 pF. Now, I need a capacitor with value of 3300 pF. It requires other technology with two wires as electrodes.

The capacitor has not self inductance (only leads). Because the base is conductor and magnetic field is shorted.

Thanks for image of your capacitor, am I right in thinking it uses
properties of inductance to then form a storage medium
then measured as capacitance ?

You point out the value of capacitance is presently low
perhaps parallel arranged this might improve ?

Which Philips DAC are you trying this on, and at which section
is your capacitor providing benefit. ? The TDA 1541 is very
popular on this forum for its lovely sound.
