Hi Guys,
I just finished my pre-amp in his new box that I bought on ebay. The line switch, the power plug, the legs, the aluminum buttons were provided for purchase and all for about $ 150 delivered to us. I made the design of this pre-amp several years ago from the Erno Borbely super buffer scheme that I modified and the power supply is one of the first version of the shunt regulator of Salas. I decided to redesigned my boards completely because they were not quite to my taste. Here some photos.

Very posh.
I tend to go the cheap route for my amps and use PC cases for them.
I can pick up a second hand pc case with PSU for £20.
I strip out power supply and leave mains switch and mains socket.
I leave the fan in to keep the amp cool.
Not the nicest of results but functional.
