When viewing the new posts page and clcking "more" if you view a post in "more" and click to go back it takes tyou back to the start of the new posts that you have already read and have to scroll down to the bottom and click "more" again and then find the spot you were previously looking at. Very frustrating.
Similarly, if you create a new post then close the page (tab) then re-open it, the new post isn't there. (I feel there are other examples which I can't think of just now)

Don't do that. BACK is now untrustworthy. This is not a static site.
Yes, on the old software you could. It apparently forced a re-read when a Back was stale (or always). This software doesn't.
There may be reams of UI theory why it should work this way. But my fingers can't get used to it.
