Just sharing some pics. I have two ELF1.5's that I've modified the cabinet design for powered by an amp from S5 Electronics, modded a box for that too. LF is handled by an Adire AV8 in a 72" long sonotube with a 25 watt amp from Apex Jr. The setup is in a 20' x 22' room with an 11' ceiling. "Aw lawkit alawt"

Thanks Steve, I mean 7V (don't want to confuse anyone 😀 ). Turning the pot up half way is too loud for me. I don't recall the sensitivity for the two wired in parallel. One is 87db (8 ohm nom)so I'm sure it's over 90 (4 ohm nom). A nice bonus with the amp is that it will handle 4 or 8 ohm speaks.
Hmm...perhaps a picture of the sonotube sub? Is it a T-line? Here's my T-line and moi, last year. I was in charge of the audio for the spring play and couldn't resite promoting my latest project....this year I'm thinking of using more than one of my latest T-line boxes...perhaps four? heheheh!

It's based on a quarter wave concept hence the 72" length. It's laying on it's side behind one of the sofas. Purely a prototype and looks like crap. Imagine a naked sonotube with a driver glued to one end and a pillow sticking out the other with a cardboard box sitting on top housing the amp. Didn't see a reason to post a pic of that. When I first set it up I stuffed some poly-fil in it to help the sound which it did, but I knew I needed more. Not wanting to make a run to the store I stopped at that point. I was concerned that our kitten would crawl up inside the tube so I folded a small pillow in half and put it in the tube. Wouldn't you know, it sounded great after that. Go figure!
