Hi Jack,
It seems to me that this tool is good only for "typical" operating parameters of MOSFETs, so for all linear application should be taken with some grains of salt.
This also got mentioned on news://sci.electronics.cad - you can search Google Groups for "FETBench".
Of course, also the freely available power MOSFET models for SPICE are of dubious value. Just consider that there are models in the wild which doesn't include subthreshold (diffusion current) at all.
