I need to take more pictures. All of my existing pictures are too large of a file. What do you think about bass reflex phase? I'm not an engineer and I am not sure why the bass response is so good. I built a half scale proof of concept prototype with 3" drivers and I got about the same low end response. The cabinets are so solid that I can't detect any cabinet resonence.
English teacher? Nah.
Just don't like the use of the term base for bass.
Well nice work anyhow, hope you enjoy ur new speakers...
I don't see from the internal image how the center tube connects to the two smaller tubes?? What's the path?

Bass? Isn't that a fish? Just kidding. The path is from the third chamber from the top to the one above it via a hole in the board.
I am curious, have you shot some nearfield freq resp curves?
How about an impedance curve, especially for the LF response?
What freq is the "port" tuned to??
Just curious about the design.

I am trying to acquire all of the necessary test equipment to do the specs. I have a signal generator and I can tell (only by ear) that the lows are down to 3o hz. As far as port tube tuning, I designed them so I could get the maximum length of tubes within the cabinet. There is really no way to tune the ports because the tubes are deep within the structure. The proto's I built are using very inexpensive drivers. I was on a limited budget for the proto's and couldn't aford the HiVi woofers I want to use in the final product.
