Have you guys noticed the new Marantz models CD5400 and CD7300.

They seem not to use the same topology that 4X oversampled the I2S data already in servo processor.
CD5400 uses TC9462F -> CS4392
CD7300 uses SAA7324 -> CS4396
So my quess is that it would be well possible to use a TDA1543 or TDA1541 with no os here.

The clock at least in CD7300 is of course a disaster. It seems it's done wrong to include a "feature" of pitch adjusting. Too bad they kill the sound doing this....
