I remember many years ago using LM4766T recently, it is still very good voice.

And simple.

It than single transistor amplifier, of course, there are still some weaknesses.

But there is no denying the fact. It in the desktop small amplifier. The effect is far more than the TDA8920 TDA8950

I think it is better than TA2022.

Maybe it just use the 2 watts of electricity.

LJM, thanks for the info on your LM4766 board - it's nice and compact. You may want to check out my nested gainclone topology, called the MiniRef, which I've successfully used with LM1875 and LM3886 chipamps. The topology should also work with the LM4766, leading to a slightly larger and more complicated layout than your existing LM4766 board. I did plan to make an LM4766 version of the MiniRef a couple of years ago, but stayed with the easily available LM1875 and LM3886 versions.

MiniRef + a discrete opamp in the outer loop has unbeatable sonics, as both PreSapian and I have discovered after some experimentation with various opamps.

I have seen your information.

They're very beautiful. But a lot of parameters is worth considering. I think we can modify.

Make it more perfect.

1875 of the output voltage is lower, so the more feedback depth can reduce noise and distortion.

Resistance value as far as possible with smaller, more resistance to bring greater resistance value thermal noise.

1875 do not need to output using 0.22 R resistance. It will reduce the efficiency, and no benefit.
