Am I the first one?
Issue 0 of LINEAR AUDIO was received today in Berlin, thank you.
I will start reading this evening. All I can say in this moment is that
my best wishes go for a good success of this publication. Is this really
intended to be a monthly?
Have been a reader of TAA magazine from the beginning but started
to get bored of amateurish discussions (direction of current flow, eeh!)
and yet another cd player mod. The same applied for Glass Audio,
which was fascinating in the beginning, but I preferred Sound Practices
later.
Keep up the level,
A.S.
While I'm of course interested to see/hear the comments on the articles, I'm really curious how Joachim's is received. It's a very nice and smart design, but also unusual. You really need an open mind to grok it, it has almost all known audio tricks and techniques in one single piece of equipment.

I have to get one on order!!! NOW!!!
Thanks, Jan. This is a big service to this community. I wish this venture well.
With an article by SY! Wow! A live music hunter by night, I did not know until now that he was also a contributor. This is the stuff of legend!!!
Exactly! Who needs articles by Cordell, Linkwitz, Pass, Nousaine, Gerhard, if we can have a SY article! Wow!
jan
Cordell, Linkwitz, Pass, Nousaine, Gerhard..., SY
I'm remined of the old Sesame Street song: "Which of these things is not like the others, which of these things doesn't belong..."
a SY article!
For an intense savor of the article, the read was taken at early high tea, accompanied by a classic chick-liver lasagna leftover with adequate curls of grilled lard fumé. (home smoked, free-range straight from the Provence)
Excellent entreé. (the meal, that is )
Jan,
The discussions to get Mr. Yaniger on board must have been quite complex and detailed compared to the others. [snip]
The discussions to get Mr. Yaniger on board must have been quite complex and detailed compared to the others. But you pulled it off!
Hookers and coke. Works every time.
