Hi Jan, I'm interested in articles on TMC, would that be Volume 6, any others I should look at?
Is there a package deal for back issues?
I'm going to buy two books also:
Audio Power Amplfiers - towards inherently linear amplifiers, Arto Kolinummi
Baxandall & Self on Audio Power Peter Baxandall, Douglas Self

Jan, I know you must be hurt, and now I share your pain, from my side it is ironic, number 13, I know you are past that [number 14] 🙂 Thanks for the fish!

Thanks.
/OT NL insider joke: you know the name of this Arthur Dent character in the NL version of the Hitchhikers guide (translation by Ad Visser whom I am sure you know): Amro Bank. 😉

Arto's book is currently being reprinted, it'll be up again in two weeks probably.

Jan, I may be daft but it seems to me that on page 143 LA 13 the power transistors are reversed.

That I am daft? 🙂
That I am daft? 🙂
That's debatable 🙂
But you were right about the error in the circuit. Corrected attached.
And Ian has joined us for a discussion on this design here:

I'm afraid it is....
Any tangible explanation for your loyal readers?
At some point you need to chose between doing your own design stuff, or edit the write-up of people about their design stuff. The balance was the wrong way

Yes that was most amazing: people who earned their stripes, have nothing more to prove, yet sitting down spending many hours of their scarce free time to write an article for us for basically pizza money. And that empatically includes you Bob!

What Bob said. Thank you, Jan and authors.
I am saddened at the end of this run, but feel fortunate to have acquired all volumes of LA (just ordered 12 and 13 a few minutes ago). Terrific content, excellent publication quality - an impressive body of work and remarkably inexpensive, considering.
