New lamp from Osram!

Osram came up with a new metal halide lamp that has
very good specs.
First of all it seems to have the 1/3 of the arc lenth than the
standard HQI-TS 250w has, plus it gives 100 lumen per watt.
So the new HCI-TS 250W delivers 24500 lumens with less heat
than the HQI.
I might have this lamp by friday as i ordered it.
The bad news now is that osram only produce this lamp
in WDL 3000kelvin,no UV STOP and CRI 90.
I will anyway buy it for my garden,so before i place it there i will replace the HQI i use in one of my projectors.
I am sure that in the near future color temps of 4200 and 5100
will be in production with UVSTOP.This is exactly what happened
with the HQI when it was first in production,no UVSTOP and WDL.
Ok i have the following links to see what i am talking about.
Any comments would be great.
I also attached tha HQI link to compare the 2 lamps.

If this come out in a 400W with UVstop and a so small arc
the quality and lumen output in our projectors will go way up!!!
One thing is for sure,no more ghosting(short arc)

😉

Heya WMT, ya they are new, i saw them a couple of months ago, they have a new line out for the cdm-t style range aswell. They look nice but as you say they are only 3000k and thats prety much what turned me off of them. Who knows give it 6months hopefully they will have a 5100k version out.
