Hi everyone firstly great forum i could spend a few days reading over these posts and probably will. I am one of those guys who owned a record deck many years ago and since the advent of cd's packed all the vinyl away in the loft where it gathered dust and fly droppings for many years. A few weeks ago my son left home so i decided to turn his room into a Vinyl Room which is something i've been wanting to do for a while now. I was given an old deck and have come here for some advice really. I hope i can give back in the future as i don't want to take and run. Once again it's nice to be here and i look forward to meeting some if not all of you in the future.

Hello Randle,

I had to reply to yr "vinyl" post as a buddy and I were talking about lp's at work today.
I occasionally buy vinyl in good condition at flea markets on a whim, as I don't have a turntable...
Also, on trash day in my neighborhood, I'm bound to find a couple of records thrown out, often in good or resotable condition...keep saying that I'm going to buy a record player....
I have seen plenty of harware that allows a person to input the phono cartridge signal directly into computer to "rip" the recording, then perhaps put it on mp3 player. I use my Creative Zen M 30 gb as my car music source, as it's nice to have a LOT of music available anytime.
Nice readin' you. Bdog
