In response to customer demand, the Cortado MkII Buffered / Balanced Contact Mic is now shipping in various cable lengths: 18", 48", 72". All models feature the same 12" pigtail-to-XLR.
The Cortado features a little built-in preamp circuit to balance and buffer the signal from the piezo, matching its impedance to your recording console for full bandwidth frequency response. Ridiculous shielding and a meticulously hand-matched FET pair result in a crazy-low noise floor. Offered by Zeppelin Design Labs of Chicago.
