I've had my AX-80 speakers for a while now, homebuilt by myself in 1992 and still going very well... but they look a little dated.
Now with my Neurochrome Modulus 86 amp done, it's about time to upgrade them. Plan is to build them from layers of plywood, inspired by the line-array build here on the forum.
Now the original speakers have 2 x 27.7 ltrs volume, new design is 2 x 25.5 ltrs at the moment. Anyone any idea how that would go ? Should I enlarge them a bit to get the same volume ?
