Hello,
I found this site while searching for do it yourself audio projects. I recently completed a PCI plug and play RIAA preamp, and am now working on a single-ended microphone preamp for my home studio. If you have any suggestions for a low cost low noise microphone preamp, I'd be grateful. You can find my other project at:

Hi Walt,
Welcome to diyaudio!
Try poking around the solid state, tube, analog and digital source areas. You will get a better response in the area closest to your technology.
It sounds like you are comfortable with a soldering iron, that makes you more than just okay in my book! 😉
