Hi , guys , My name is Jeremy Justice , i am a professional artist, hot rodder, general tinkerer, and just cant seem to leave well enough alone. i have recently been bit by the DIY bug and have started off with a drumstick tonearm and a turntable using a transcriptors hydraulic reference platter and bearing. I am looking forward to many new projects and getting to know the DIYAUDIO family thanks guys , enjoy some pics

oh wow thanks for the invite dave, I would love to come up and check out the event, I am not sure I will be in the area at the end of august but if I am I will come for sure. sounds like fun!
Jeremy, I really like your creativity.
If you do happen to make it to the fest, you'll meet a lot of likeminded souls who share your passion and don't mind listening to the build stories. (unlike your friends who are no doubt bored listening about all things audio, as are mine.) 🙂

Thats a really cool turntable and I love the drumstick arm. Does it enhance ryhthm?

actually, as funny as it sounds , I do think it enhances the percussion a bit, makes it sound slightly more real and way more kick drum slam, although I think its the wood and not the fact that it is a drumstick, but I guess you never know, the one I am working on now is a found piece of oak, so I will be to compare the two soon....hopefully
I would really love to come to the fest guys, I am supposed to be in germany at the end of august, if I am around I will come up for sure, I love talking audio and yes everyone I know is tired of hearing about turntables, bearings, tonearms, platters, armboards, etc, thanks for the warm welcome guys!
There is the Pacific North West Audio Society Pacific Northwest Audio Society to look into and a very active AES chapter with lots of audio engineers in town too.
