Thanks noviygera. That makes more sense.
Looking at the control software the filtering flexibility of that device is too limited to make it usable IMHO...

RayW, you can actually do minimum-phase correction in FIR (you can do about anything for that matter).
As a matter of fact EQs for reproduction purpose should always be minimum-phase.
Crossovers are another matter of course.
