Are we going to get the quad 909 over here or do you think it is a hong kong after market mod, bridged with over 300 watts per channel into 8 ohms

I have built bridging units for 606s based on the 405 units that Quad supplied in the past. I have a set of 306 ones listed on Ebay at present and I am happy to supply details. Incidentally Quad will tell you that you can not bridge the 306 or 606 but if you can get to talk to someone technical they will admit that they had not tried it but could see no reason why it would not work. I have had no complaints with the ones I built

I have built an external plugin unit that does the same as in diagrams 1 - 3 but can also be switched to bypass the resistors and uncouple the outputs enabeling the unit to be used to simply split the input for bi-amping or couple the outputs for mono operation. I shall post photos when I get home tonight
