New AV12X, AV12H and AV15X, AV15H from Acoustic Elegance (former Stryke)

Hi guys,

Did you saw the new drivers available from Acoustic Elegance ? John had alot of problems to bring them to market, but now they are ready and he's taking pre-orders with a pre-order rebate !

199$ for the AV12H or AV12X
219$ for the AV15H or AV15X

My personnal favorite is the AV15H since it's modeling very well in a large vented box or passive radiator box. I plan to replace my old Adire Audio Shiva with it... that will be a serious upgrade !

I think the drivers have a bit high Fs IMHO but other than that, they look great with that aluminium cone. The Qts is OK and excursion is a good 23mm with 1000W power handling.

I'm glad to see these drivers made it back into production. At the preorder price, those AV12s look like a real deal. I've got an AV12 from back when TC Sounds built them for Stryke Audio, and I think I might move up to the new woofer for whatever improvement in musicality I can get, though the originals were some of the cleanest bass drivers ever, period.

Yeah, the AV12-X looks good in a ~3.3 ft^3, 20 Hz TQWT and ~11.7 ft^3, 13 Hz TH.
