New amp build

Hi all, I just finished the chassis work and now going to assemble it starting tomorrow.

Organ amp chassis taken from stock to humped to painted. Tubes will go on the humps.

6LR8 compactron SET. Maggie PTX and OPTs

The OPTs under the chassis with the PTX and Chokes (stacked) on top.

Maybe should put the two pyramid tubes on the front panel, then it'd have hot t_ts!!!

The two big holes in the front take a Oil Pressure gauge and a Oil temp gauge....no t-ts there.

What did you use to get the honeycomb effect?

We have a whole box of doylies and the like. I just grabbed one and that is the one I grabbed. I thing it was a fish net stocking. And of course, the others are spider webs from a holloween costume.

Hey I teach welding. Those aftermarket t*ts are not very beautiful but they will take a beating and not fall off.

Hey DT, you should have seen them before. In the spirit of being a junk amp, I did a super bubblegum weld on them. It took me two days on looking at it to decide to smooth them out. I just took a tig tip to them so they are way over heated....but yes, they are not going anywhere.
