Very nice. So, now I know why you didn't hang around forum lately. Appart from the power differences, I got the impression than SOZ could be a better sounding amp, right? Maybe finally, I should finish mine as well. 😉

I feel the same way about SOZ. Simple is ALOT better to me, at least.
when you listen with SOZ for a while, the lack of power vanishes.
The big difference is when you make a side by side test. Big muscle amps have strong arguments.
I have a NAD 3020, that also compared with SOZ side by side looks better, but a more profund listenig session reveals the that brute force isn't better that a simple circuit.
I bet the only reason NP doesn't sell SOZ amps is because his clients don't want to buy a amp for the price of a car with only 5 or so Watt.
Also worth mentioning is that environmental light is crucial to the critical listening. I will be using an old green tube from an old tube vacuum cleaner. It is an reminder on good old days. I think it is a good idea.😉

Nice work Pedro!!! I like those heat sinks....finally another person that has gotten away from those boring flat type sinks! I considered that type for my amp too, but the price was more than double the 300.00 U.S. that mine cost me.....

Nice looking amp. I'm hoping this amount of heatsinking is not absolutely necessary because I was planning on building an Aleph 5 with two heatsinks I've got laying around somewhere.
And, while mine are quite "substantial", yours are huge.
But, while your upgrading your house, you might consider getting bigger doors. You can then use a forklift to get your amps from the workshop to the listening room😉 😉

What speakers are you using ? Eventually the 'Claw' will be the fitting speaker for the 'small' powered amps and also serve as a new challenge once all the currently available designs have been built ...

You are right. there is no need to use six heatsinks sinks. in fact only 4 of them are "working". the temperature is about 50ºC on the sinks with the fets and 30 with the sinks with the trafos.

I am also interested in you power-switching-solution, since I also plan to use a "vandalism-proof" button, since they look so nice...
You said that you used a bistable relais, I could not find it (since my catalogues are at home, and I am at work). Is there a kind of transformator build into the relais, or do you have to use an extra transformer in order to get some DC voltage to switch the relais? Sadly you did not post pictures where one could see this, so instead of looking I'm asking...
