new 832 tubes?

I am seeing over and over that these tubes are still in production,Russia and china.But I can't find a source.Please help or let me know if i have been misinformed.

I dont think 832A is still made in russia, but there is still surplus


why bother though? 829B is same socket, more power, and more or less the same price 🙂

unless you have specific application i guess

So far all I have built with have been the more common tubes,so this is my try at somthing a bit different.Cheap beeing the next word.I will look at the 829,it's probubly a better idea.thanks for the input.

I have seen this amp in my latest searches,It is impressive to say the least.It looks far from cheap though.

And one other possibility, the ECC832 is made in large supply. It is a 12DW7/7247. We use them in guitar amplifiers at least. Make sure that is not the 832 you are seeing references to.

I am sure this tube operates well but I am looking for somthing that looks odd and functions reasonably well.I think I have most of the hardware needed for the one I put up including some old tubes(hope there still kicking).
