One Stop Displays (OSD) announced its new 3.5-inch full VGA transflective TFT LCD (OSDT035STEE1) that includes an integrated touch panel and a white LED backlight.
Using an advanced low temperature manufacturing process, the display offers lower power consumption, higher pixel density and greater pixel aperture ratios than conventional high temperature amorphous silicon (a-Si) TFT displays, the company claims.

might this be good for DIY projects?

It would depend upon whether or not you could build a decent light engine for it I would think. You would have to focus all/most of the light coming from the MH bulb into a very narrow beam to get it to work well. If it could be done, it would be really cool though because since the LCD is so small, you could get Long Throw capabilities with a regular cheapo lens.
Dont get to excited..........

its also only $69............. when u buy 1000 😛 so a group buy would be in order
