Bricolo is right, and I was wrong. :up:

In a vain attempt to patch up my wounded
ego, I'll split hairs and clairy that:

VAC = Vpeak/SQRT(2) = Vrms ,
*not* Vpeak-to-peak/SQRT(2)
as I originally said.

And, as Bricolo said, the peak value
of a 120VAC sine wave is 120*SQRT(2).

There, I feel a little better. 😉
