@starcat chill out. Tom is one of the most stand up vendors I've ever dealt with, and his designs are always well executed and deliver what is promised.
I agree. Tom is an excellent engineer and has great products. I've purchased many items from him over the years and have been satisfied with everything.
And nobody told otherwise. Everything started with a simple question how a "diff pre" can have a 2-gang pot. Well, it can, if it is not a diff pre but a single ended pre. Then marketing started.
I suggest you follow your own advice then.
I describe my products clearly on my website and back up my claims with the most comprehensive set of measurements in the industry. If what I offer isn't your cup of tea, that's completely fine. We don't all have to like the same things. As you pointed to earlier, Nelson Pass has a line of products that you could go buy or build. Others do too.
