Give this a try - In windows goto control panel > Internet Options > click on the content tab, then click on "Clear SSL State".
Not reinstalled but it has auto update and used every day.And have you reinstalled the browser, with the latest version?
Perhaps deleting the whole chrome and reinstall ? But that means reentering all passwords

Updates do not fix a broken base installation, only parts which get updated.

Well I did a reinstall. Passwords still in place. But now I get only a warning your connection isn't private and I have to click the "dangerous" link.
It's the combination chrome-diyaudio with the problem.
firefox+diyaudio and chrome+zelfbouwaudio no problem.
