I think the NEO8 driver would be great as a computer speaker, with both music and game sound. I'd like some advice on how to implement it. Ideally it would be a 2-way system, but there seems to be some disagreement as far as the NEO-8 being good at sound > 10KHz. I can hear pretty well, up to 19KHz and I like somewhat bright and airy highs in my music and sound effects. It sounds dull to me without clean highs.
So can I get some recommendations on what to pair with the NEO8 to make a great sounding computer speaker? I will be driving them with the Keiga 3100 2.1-ch amp available at madisound.

Maybe thats no good answer from me, but why dont you try the Neo without tweeter and judge by your own impression if you need a tweeter? Or just use a notch filter for the cavity resonance instead of an additional driver.
The thing is, the NEO8 only goes down to 700 Hz and my subwoofer only goes up to 120 Hz. Wouldn't it be better to have a driver that can fill in that gap between say 100 to 700 Hz? I was thinking about using a 5.25" driver and maybe cross it over around 2000 Hz, which would let the NEO8 handle the higher frequency sounds. Would the NEO8 alone sound decent as a "full range" speaker if used with a subwoofer?
A decent 8" wooferr goes up to 700hz.
Unless you're a bass freak one or two 8" woofers should give enough lows, no need for a sub.
If you want to cross at 2000 go with the neo3.
Dipool neo3 can be crossed at 2000 and would be better at the higher frequencies than the neo8.

A 3-way is much more diffuicult and expensive though.

Or you could shop ebay for a used Monsoon M700 or M1000 set. I've gotten several for under $60 per set. They have panels that go down to 250Hz and a woofer that works below that, along with EQ to deal with the 6dB/octave dipole slope (you'll want to mimic that if you go with NEO8s).
Neo8 looks like a good dedicated upper midrange in a 3-way design.
Even the 40" and larger BG ribbons lose out quickly below 500hz.
I would predict that it would make your speakers sound "thin" if crossed over below 800hz.
