Hi all, I have a couple of Jordans JX92S in “Klonus” boxes as left/right in my HT configuration. Central and surrounds are Bose cubes. Now I want to upgrade those little boxes for real speakers. What can I do? The first I thought was to use Jordans.
Please guide me to another alternatives.
Could be commercial or DIY.
Thanxs in advance, and (as always) sorry for my (bad) english.

What about building Jordan JX92S mini-monitors (7-8 liters volume) for use as the center and rear channels? With the design that I have used you can port them for lowest bass or stuff the port tube to essentially create a sealed box. Their tonality would match your current left and right channels speakers and the overall size would be reasonable.
Then add an active subwoofer for the lowest frequencies and you would have an excellent home theater set-up.

Thank you, Jim. Where can I find complete information about those monitors? Plans, etc.

Sorry, I found the info... 🙂

There are plans on the Jordan website http://www.ejjordan.co.uk/systems/jx92_system.html
You could use as little as 3L but most suggest the 8Lreflex box.
How low do you expect your rears and centers to go. If you can survive with them only going as low as about 150Hz the JxR6 can offer you an option in very small cabinets (about 2L).
