Greetings, this is my first time posting here
after some bit of lurking, I decided to make my own speaker. note that this is my first time, I just gonna use a cheap full range speaker. after some bit of research, I found this speaker which a local brand in my country (definitely not hi-fi, but it should be fine). since its relatively dirt cheap, I wished to give it a try (my budget is too limited so any recommendation of more expensive speaker r probably not possible for me)
https://jicspeaker.com/product/lb-04025/
my question is that this speaker got both High EBP and high QTS (above 1...I know...but please bear with it). so I'm still wondering should I go sealed or ported. and at what volume. I was I was thinking just to make an infinite baffle instead
best regards

Welcome!
Open baffle, IB (> 10x Vas = > 11.7 L) with lots of damping to 'taste' or same cab with an aperiodic reflex vent (53 cm^2) with the understanding that with a tiny Xmax, 140 Hz Fs it's not even going to cover the AM radio BW down low. 🙁
If just listening at low volume (~1 W peaks), a max flat alignment is ~25.14 L/~57.8 Hz, which can also be a (vented) TL with a small footprint.
Calc'd ~86.25 dB/W/m

I see. so its better to be used as satelitte speakers coupled with subwoofer?
thank you for the response.

& yeah wasn't expecting for the speaker to reach low or get flat alignment. just wanna try build it to sounded good enough.
will continue my search then

What GM suggests.
High Q, high Fs, should make for a reasonable midTweeter in an OB. Add woofers (now or later).

oh yeah, haven't considered OB as well. the speaker also have some arrangement of woofers (same LB series). though I know nothing about crossovering
