Looking for a schematic for a Hughes & Kettner B.A.T.T. bass preamp/amp. Any help would be appreciated.
The Hughes & Kettner "B.A.T.T." bass preamp, discontinued in the mid-90s, is an all-tube, half-rack preamp/amplifier. Its five-watt power amplifier (EL84)will drive a speaker to practice levels.
Of particular note is the ability to take a line- or instrument-level signal from either the preamp or the power amp stages. Taking the signal from the power amp provides all of the output-transformer coloration that a tube amp has.
Harmony Central reviews are all good, so I thought I'd try to recreate it. Its fairly small, (about 12" square X 3" hi) and I thought with maybe a different output tube it would make a good 2X10 combo.
