I need to replace a damaged D28AF tweeters (movers, ugh!).
I will replace both tweeters, and option to buy more of the same tweeters for a center channel and surround speakers.
These tweeters are paired with Dynaudio 17W75 in a sealed 18-liter enclosure, with an 18db low pass and a 12db high pass Madisound crossover at 2500Hz.
I really enjoy the linear frequency response, imaging, off axis sound and sound stage with this setup. In my experience, piano music is the true test of quality, and these Dynaudio tweeters are beautiful.
Any suggestions are very appreciated.

A quick check of the Dayton DC28F 8ohm looks like it could work quite well also.

Thank you for that lead. I have never replaced a tweeter dome or woofer cone, but I have done a bit of DIY electronics work, and I will try it. Cheaper than new tweeters. No affiliation....

I have checked out the Dayton DC28F and I will get a pair, to evaluate and maybe build some satellites.
Thank you for your suggestions.
Thank you @citationfan. I have been looking at the Morel MDT30 as the replacement. Your suggestion helps validate my research. I am not so concerned with the physical diameter, cutout et cetera. I can manage some woodworking; I really want acoustic performance.
Thank You,
Charles.

I agree on Morel and think there are versions that will have the same diameter. The Morels also let you replace the dome if it happens again.
If you care for "acoustic performance" you have to design a new crossover when using a new driver. Always. If you had a "universal 2500" crossover, you never had even a fraction of the possible acoustic performance the driver combination could give.
Sorry, but you need a matched crossover for every baffle and driver combination. One of the ugly facts of speaker DIYS dealer don't like to hear or say.
You can't simply change broken drivers by looking at a data sheet and take something similar, you have to measure the construction. By the way, this crossover building and speaker development is a well paid profession and part of acoustic science and university education.

This is generally very true but in my experience some of the Morel soft domes are very similar, iirc electrically some are identical and the dome is probably the same material, weight and shape but maybe a slightly different coating. Physically, i.e. distances etc are the same so the "right" Morel soft dome may very well replace the original without altering "acoustic performance" in any significant way. Or should I say not more than replacing it with a new D28.If you care for "acoustic performance" you have to design a new crossover when using a new driver. Always. Morel and Dynaudio people developed the original D28 as far as I understand and later split.
I have not worked with the D28 in this respect but I upgraded the 2nd generation D260 with the Morel ST1108 and the freq response over the crossover region was identical without any changes to the crossover.
