Need opinions

Hey everybody, I just got my first big assignment as a speaker fabricator.
I have to make an entire speaker system for a local club. It has to be LOUD!

I was thinking about making a 3 way system. I wanna use an active crossover to separate the singal into high mid and low. Was thinking about using 3x12" woofers, 4x5" mids and 4x2" tweeters.

The other solution is to take a high power home amplifier with a 5.1 or 7.1 system, make the speakers myself and hook it all up.

I would appreciate on tips which one to use or jou could just give me other ideas. Thanks for your help 🙂

What's the budget? $1000 is about the minimum, and that would just get you a pro amp and parts to build a couple of 2-way speakers. $10K would be a lot more fun.

When he first called me, he told me to build him an entire system. And I was supper excited 😀 Then he called me a few days later, told me he has 2 18" and two tweeters and two amps for them and told me to get an active crossover and just hook it all up -.-
So no building involved here, bummer :\
The budget is really tiny like $200 (for the crossover and some wiring). The guy wants to save money. What can you do.

Maybe you should get something worked up anyways for when he realizes his setup might not work out.

I know it wont work cuzz he's missing mids which are the most important -.- But I seriouesly doubt that anythings gonna change. In case it does 😀 I'll be sure to let you guys know if have any questions.
