Hi all 🙂
I have "same" problems with :
McIntosh Mc431, Soundstream 405, Harman/Kardon TC-400Q
car amplifier.
All three amps were broken when I bought them on ebay.
And I can not find the parts needed, in Sweden,
requires matched transistors says my repairman.
Are they something else that might need to be replaced as a preventive measure?
Can someone help me?
Greetings from Sweden

Well, a bit more precise information about which transistors (which location/function) in the each unit would be very helpful. In other words, I could recommend to start with obtaining the service manuals. Then, semiconductors like transistors hardly fail by their own; their failure is often caused by other failing components like capictors and resistors (or shorting speaker terminals). In other words, you have some work ahead of you.
