Hi all, I have 2 off these Selenium d250 compression drivers:
These is not d250-x, these is not d250-trio
These are som older versions, and I would much appreciate if anybody kan give me som data on them🙂
I got them cheap on ebay 4 or 5 years ago along with some JBL HM25-25 horns
I want to put them to use, but ned the info to find matching drivers so that I can built som speakers

Hello.
I do have those specs, here they are;
Nominal impedance; 8ohms
minimum imp. @ 615hz; 7.2ohms
power handling; x-over @ 500hz, 12db-oct; 100watts music
power handling; x-over @ 1000hz, 12db-oct; 150watts music
sensitivity; (on a horn); 107db-spl @ 1 meter, on axis
frequency response @ -10db; 400 to 9000hz
RE; 6.0 ohms
flux density; 1.2 Tesla
minimum recomended x-over; 600hz
I have ALL of the specs (the actual leaflet) in hand here. If you need more. There are the usual (very accurate) 🙂 graphs too...

turboyam:
thx man 🙂
The actual leaflet would be nice to have too!
I dont know how much data I really need, I am ready noob when it comes to speaker building, but I imagine that next step will be to find out about frequency responce, and polar patterns off the horn + driver, I hope to finde som software that can calculate that and think that that software might need som driverparmeters.... but as is now I don't even know if the horn alone decides the polar pattern of horn + driver or if the driver has any influens on that too.... I must find out and there after se if I can find matching drivers to make a full range speaker 🙂
