Hello all its been awhile. I hope everyone is doing well and a happy and blessed Holidays. Well I got a Heath Company kit from a friend. It is the Model AS-1320. So Everything seems to be okay but,The foam dry rotted on the 8 inch woofers. The woofers were rubbing so they are shot. So this is were I would like some help? They use the Pyle Driver Model W8C200-F 8 inch drivers. I did call Pyle and they told me to use their newer 8 inch Model PPA8 drivers at Parts express. Well first off the ( W8C200-8) Drivers are 92.6 DB and the replacements are 89.2 that is a 3 DB change. Also the older one go's down to 45 Hz the new one is 60hz. The older driver has a 49.82 liters or 1.75 cubic feet. The newer one is 0.70 cubic feet. This kits instructions came with a sealed box type and that is what was built for this kit. So is there a better suited driver for my kit to use as a replacement driver out there? Sorry for such a long post just trying to give all the details that I could think of. Thanks Mr. Daniel

IMHO that Pyle employee is just trying to get you to buy another Pyle.. If you have the T/S parameters of the old driver just match them with a new driver, any make/brand will do as long as the T/S parameters are the same.
