i need to replace the lamp bulb of my projector..
it's rlc-030 and it's fairly expensive..
i would like to ask if it's possible to use any alternative projector bulb..
and i would like to know it what is the voltage of this projector bulbs..

You can use any 200W DC Low Voltage Ignition burner on this. BTW, to avoid any confusions, I am aware that your one is a 160W but the burner installed has a max rating of 200W.
It is possible to use a lamp of an alternative projector. I know the InFocus X1 lamp and the BenQ MP510 lamp is identical to your one. If you remove the lamp from the housing, you can just put it in your housing and it is a straight fit. Same burner and reflector (bare lamp) just different makes. Saves you messing around with burner and all that. So that widens your choice a bit. 😉 .
Operating voltage is irrelevant as all 200W DC burners have an operating voltage of around 75V. What is important is the ignition voltage as the Low Voltage Ignition uses an ignition voltage of about 5KV to strike the burner whereas the High Voltage Ignition burners use a voltage of anything upto 15KV to strike the burner. Your projector takes a Low Voltage Ignition Burner, therefore replacing it with a High Voltage Ignition burner may take more than one attempt to light. In worst case scenarios, it may fail to strike at all.

thanks for the info.. i kind of understand it a little bit..
i just wanted to know the voltage for that kind of bulb..
so that i would know what voltage rating of replacement(substitute) buld to buy..
because i am afraid of burning out the bulb that i would buy.. thanks..
