I need help to wire a repurposed transformer from a carver av-405.
Would orange brown be in, while grey ties to neutral.
Red and black tied together.
This was a dual primary transformer, 115v and 230v.

To wiring it for 115VAC mains:
Orange and brown tied together go to Live.
Red and black tied together go to Neutral.
I guess the gray wire is screen, you can use DMM to confirm it.

Thank You,
The gray wire is tied into the black and brown wires. On the little pcb, the blue and gray wire are solder together. Maybe it goes to neutral also?

The gray wire is probably a thermal fuse connected internally to the black wire.
