Hello,
I am looking to procure Amorphous (Metal) Copper or Silver cable conductors. It can be either in wire form or it can also be in thin foil form (foil is preffered). Amorphous metal is a lot harder to find compared to regular ones like OFC or OCC ones hene asking for the help.
Does anyone know from where to procure it?
Regards,

I wish I could, but getting some time at CERN or FERMILAB would be more likely than me building a particle accelerator 😉

I think you have made it up.
Amorphous material for a transformer core maybe. You building a national grid?
Amorphous copper & silver wire? Dream on.

@vinylkid58 Unfortunately I don't know anyone at CERN, maybe you can help me in getting those extra wires from the storage locker 😉

I did.

I think the form of the ring is amorphous, not the metal it’s made of!I did.

You need to contact these guys: https://vacuumschmelze.com/ However most amorphous metals are focused on magnetics. There may be something around a copper alloy somewhere but no commercial reality. Not sure what it would bring. Superconductor if you have a supply of liquid helium maybe. . .
I guess once amorphous metal is HEAVILY compressed and deformed by lamination from a tree trunk size ingot to less than 1 mm sheet or pulled through 20 progressively smaller dies to make wire, Nature will take over Human wishes and internally reorient crystals along the machining axis, so Amorphous no more.
Atoms will reorient following the least resistance or "natural" path.
Maybe they can be randomized again by heating to almost melting point and quick chilling, but not too sure about that.
Annealing makes metal soft and pliable again, not sure it changes electrical properties.
Guess not.
What's the supposed advantage of amorphous copper and silver?
Besides making deep drawing easier, but that's a mechanical property
