I am trying to build a power supply to power some pro-audio gear in the car. I will probably use one of the many modified jung regulators for the 5v and the 9v, but what should i use for the 3.3v? There is quite a bit of ripple and noise comming from the alternator, so i will need a good pre-regulator. Should i just use one of the lm3940's i have lying around and feed it with the output of the 5v "jung" regulator? Any suggestions on any of the supplies would be useful. So to sum it up, i have the fluctuating car power to deal with say from 12v-15v and from there i need +9v, +5v, and +3.3v.
Thanks
Hans
