Hi y'all!
I'm trying to understand a problem with my ML-9 amp + renaissance 90 speakers.
Yesterday, at about 40% of max volume the music system suddenly stopped and I noticed that the ML-9 has switched itself off - the power button was in OFF position. When I try to switch it on, it switches off immediately.
How can I determine if this is a small problem, maybe I need to change a fuse or a more serious issue?
Thank you in advance 🙂
Miranda

Hi Miranda,
Welcome to the forum!
I was hoping an ML owner might respond. I'm being a bit pessimistic, but your symptoms seem more dire than a simple fuse, since it's appears that the amp enters a protection mode each time you cycle the power switch.
Do you have any repair experience? Any test equipment? I did a brief Google search and could not find any factory service manual. There are a few DIY attempts at drafting partial schematics.
How did you wish to proceed?
Good luck!
Steve
