need help with AV400 pcb

Hi,
i'm newbie at making amps 😱 so i'm no good at making my own pcb layouts too 🙁 so i wanted to ask: maybe anyone has PCB layout for AV400 amp from aussie amps site (i want to make it my self) 😕

For 40 dollars including shipping and handling you can buy good quality, debugged and guaranteed good boards

however...you want to make a fairly complex design (your first) do you know how expensive just the bare building blocks for a pcb are?

You need quite a few tools to make something like that...drills, acid..bla...bla...bla..

I can understand that you might be strapped for cash....but making the pcb yourself is even more expensive. (could be fun though) 🙂 And take a risk that you add some errors...meaning you have to do it over....aaargghhhh..

I would just order the boards from that guy...http://www.aussieamplifiers.com/ampkits.htm buy the parts...build it with less frustration...and enjoy listening to music.

one of the reasons i want to make it my self is for learning reasons. and yes probably you are right about the money, maybe i should try something less powerfull ( like 200W@4ohm ). maybe you could offer me something less powerfull and expencive

How about a gainclone. BrianGT is offering PCB'S for 10US$...

And a kit for around 40-50US$...that puts around 50Watts of ultra musical power 🙂

all you'll need is rca plugs, volume control, transformer, binding posts and maybe switching gear....not even if you allready have a preamp that you are happy with.

well i guess chip amp would be good for the first time😀 allright, so i'm going to the chip amp board 🙂
and becides, somehow i dont realy think that somebody would send me PCB to Lithuania 😡 we are quite used to making a lot of stuff by ourselfs

I bought the PCBs for the amp that is now called AV400. It's good and a worthwhile option if you want a high power amp. I bet Anthony would send them to Lithuania if you wanted.
