Hi,
Can you reach the relay pins for the coils. If you can read the pins voltages. It would tell if you have a problem in the relay enable driver.

The only relay I can see is under the pre-amp. It has 13.6v DC on it, but it doesn't click so it must not be receiving a ground input?
Hi,
Yes, you get it right. Now the problem it is to find why. Now it is when you need the schematic to find out how it is enable.

Measure the DC voltage directly across the terminals of the diode at the base of the relay. Do you have approximately 0v or approximately 12v?
All of the previous tests were to determine if there was a reason for the relay not to engage. It appears that the amp is working properly.

Hi,
I think to enable the relay you need 13 volt at one side of the relay and the other side should be zero. So that's means that the cathode of the diode should be zero and the anode it should be 13 volts. A zero at the cathode will enable the relay.

I will pull it from the board and test it. Any part number and place to order it from? Thanks for your help hope this is it.
If the relay is defective, the following should work. Compare pin configurations before ordering.
Digi-Key Part Number: PB110-ND

Well I put 12v across the coil and nothing. It doesn't look bad but one of the windings must have broke?
One more question Perry, The 3.3k Resistors R156, R198, R205, & R216. What is the part number? I looked on Digi-key and want to make sure I get the right one. I accidentally chipped off some of the ceramic coating, or what ever it is. I was trying to make the amp look nicer by pulling it up into place, it was crushed down.
See if this one will fit. If you need a larger or smaller resistor, change the 2tr to 1tr or 3tr.

Well, I received the parts today and it works! The only problem is they sent me the relay with the sealed case and not the open one. So the crossover board doesn't screw down. I rigged it for now by desoldering the pins and pushing them down farther through the board to allow them to make proper contact and added spacers to keep it from bending the board. I will just make a new endcap and shave the pots down a hair. I learned alot and am glad that it's working again. I appreciate all your help. Thanks again.
Most of the relays of this type/style are virtually identical in size. Are you sure that the relay is all of the way down in the board?
I will have to take some pics to show you, my relay sits under the crossover board. My relay is not enclosed in a case because of this to allow it fit under the board. I've seen the pics of the boards with the relay between the caps, but haven't seen anyway like this on here. When I ordered it, it showed the correct relay and said you had to order the cover. I don't know what happened but it works. Ill try to post them tomorrow.
