Need help with an Audio Technica AT-1000T

I bought this Audio Technica AT-1000T step up transformer about 3 years ago. I was very new to Vinyl playback then, and I thought it was the same as a phono pre-amp... I had no interest in MC cartridges then when I realised my error, so it's been in my closet since.

fast forward to today and I found it in my closet when looking for a spare parts box for my turntable.. its peaked my interest now that I've matured more into vinyl playback. but just like 3 years ago I still can't find much... I'm looking for more information, hopefully a manual..

here's what I do know from googling today..
- it's very rare and a limited edition step up. only 1,000 we're possibly made
-i know the basic specs, the db gain from each input.
- it came out in the 80s.
- audio technica went way over the top on the engineering side.

here's what I can't verify
- some claim it has all silver wiring
- it was made for some special limited edition audio technica cartridge.

if anyone can lead me to a manual or have or help me get more info on why this thing exist, I would really appreciate it.
