Each subwoofer has a dual voice coil and is produced with impedance of 1 + 1 ohm or 2 + 2 ohm - which version do you have?
When you connect the two subwoofers in parallel, will you be connecting the two voice coils in each subwoofer in series or in parallel (see manual below)? Handy to know, as this determines the total impedance as seen by the amplifier.
