Been using illuminated see-saw type switch (back) to power my amps both 4 channel Leach Super Amp and F4 balanced. Front, both 1/4" DIY aluminum plate. My wife says I need to move the switch in front coz they're afraid to reach their hands at the back of amp chassis.
I'm planning to buy from Digikey push button DPDT vandal resistant illuminated panel mount front switch
ULV4F2GSS341 E-Switch | Switches | DigiKey
Or this switch function "OFF- (ON)" from mouser
AV1920P712Q04 TE Connectivity / Alcoswitch | Mouser
I might need DPDT coz I wanted to isolate both sides in primary winding of my transformers.
But I'm not sure if switch function "On-On" or "OFF- (ON)" is correct.
Can you guys share your favorite amp switch.
thanks!
Roland

hi rolandong,
the ULV4F2GSS341 is a one pole switch (datasheet!)
since i didn't look for illuminated switches i did my amps with
"arcoelectric H 8350RP" two pole switch.
cheers A.

I have a particular affinity for illuminated anti-vandal switches and have hosted three small group buys to distribute them (see Large Illuminated Anti-Vandal Switch, Large Illuminated Stainless Steel Anti-Vandal Switches and, more recently, Large Illuminated Anti-Vandal Switches (Round 3)). If you like this sort of switch, you might consider hosting your own mini-group buy; my experience (admittedly in the US where a large market for these switches exists) has been very positive. I have found Langir to be very easy to work with. Langir's price per unit is about $8.00 (US) plus shipping.
Just a thought.
Regards,
Scott
