Hello,

I am using VituixCad and I am really thankful to Mr. Saunisto for making this program freeware recently. The tutorial expects user to have a good knowledge on measurement, i was following the demo example about Kontianen, I understood the merging of nearfield and farfield measurement of the Seas W15LY001 however I am confused with the measurement of Seas 27TBFC/G used for high frequency, is there some manipulation done on the far field measurement of this driver? if any one has followed the tutorial i would be very glad to get this carified. Thanks

Are you trying to follow this
http://kimmosaunisto.net/Software/VituixCAD/VituixCAD Measurement Preparations.pdf
or the user manual?

Generally you do not need any other 'manipulation' to the tweeter data other than using the time gating in measurement software on impulse response to remove the room reflections (and possibly some smoothing). For tweeter frequency range there is no 'baffle step' type of effect. Only the edge diffractions from box edges that will be included in you measured response already.

In VituixCAD you should use the tweeter phase data to set the Timing parameter for tweeter (and all other drivers, assuming you measured the far field curves for all of them without moving the microphone)

Hello Thanks for the reply, i was refering the manual I must have missed using tweeter phase data to set the Timing parameter, can you please tell me how this work and why is it necessary. thanks
