This is why I've considered the Impact Monitors with a sub
Hi
I have a set of the Double Impacts also. And also running a Wilsenton R8 tube amp.
Bass was lacking at first and I pulled from wall, tried everything position wise but that didn't help. Finally added the spikes and carefully balanced them and they came to life.
Not great bass yet, but better.
If that helped I thought Isoacoustics might work even better.
I added Gaia 2 Isoacoustics feet and WOW! I literally sat smiling, listening to all of my normal sound test songs. With this setup I think many people would not need a sub depending on their music. I have a large 25x25 room and love a big deep bass so I use a couple of subs turned way down low so I only hear them when they are really needed. Hope this helps. How did you finally end up fixing your bass problem?
